Ordering and Shipping during Covid-9 Alert Level 4 in New Zealand.
As a non-essential business we will be following the New Zealand Government regulations and will not be shipping during Alert Level 4.
You may still order online, but it will have to be in the knowledge that your order will not be despatched until after the Alert Level 4 is lifted.
Your orders will be picked and packed and held for you.
For additional peace of mind, you may choose to pay using PayPal as you will be covered by their Buyer Protection Policy.
How do I return a Laing Home item?
From receipt of your order, you have 30 days to return the item to us for an exchange or refund on Full Priced Items. Simply contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and advise us that you wish to return or exchange the item. Then send it to us at:

What is your returns policy?
Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
Items cannot be worn, washed or altered.
All tags must still be attached.
If returned items appear to be worn, washed or altered and not in the original condition they may not qualify for an exchange or refund.
Sale items are are only eligible for a Store Credit.
Do you offer free returns?
Unfortunately, as a small company, we cannot offer free returns. But the 30-day return policy from receipt of order, let’s you choose an inexpensive postal option. We do however recommend, that you use a tracked service as the return of items is the responsibility of the customer.
Can I return my order for a refund?
Yes, of course, but only on full priced items. Refunds will be processed as soon as the item is received and as long as everything is in order, the refund will be made within 3 working days.
Can I exchange my item?
Yes! If you receive your order and the size is not quite right or you think another colour might be better, you can exchange the item. Email us at email@example.com
and we can advise you on how to exchange and help you get the next order just right.
What is Laing Homes Shipping Policy?
Once your order is received it will be shipped as follows:
Orders received before 12 pm- same day
Orders shipped after 12 pm – the following day
Orders received on weekends or after 12 pm on a Friday – the next business day
Within New Zealand, we use GoSweetSpot, New Zealand’s largest courier and freight aggregator. Expect your shipment to take 1-2 days for metropolitan areas 2-3 days for outside metropolitan areas and up to 4 days for regional areas.
For International orders, we use DHL Express. Expect your shipment to take 3-5 days for metropolitan areas 4-7 days for outside metropolitan areas and up to 7 days for outlying regional areas. These time frames do not include if your consignment is held up by your countries customs department for clearance.
What about duties and taxes?
As we ship from New Zealand, there may be duties and taxes to pay on your order. If this is the case, DHL or your customs office will contact you for payment of these taxes prior to the release of your shipment.

We have a generous cut to our garments to make sure they truly comfortable. On each product page we give you some key measurements for each garment to help with the decisions making process.
How should I care for my garments?
Part of our commitment to you is to make a garment that lasts. We have tested all our fabrics, worn test the styles and put them through a rigorous washing programme prior to production.
Once you get them home, we need your help to keep the garment in good conditions for as long as possible. You can see our care instructions here
Do you consider yourself a sustainable and ethical company?
We work every day at doing the best for our partners, customers and the planet.
Our clothing is manufactured in fully audited, small, family-run businesses. We visit them regularly and have ongoing conversations about how all of us can grow to benefit of everyone involved.
We choose natural fibres for most of our garments with only 5% of our products having synthetic fibres included. This means there are no small particles of synthetic fibres coming from our garments and going into the ocean through the laundering of them.
To help reduce our footprint we try to use only stock fabrics that would otherwise go to landfill and undertake small batch production so that we only produce what we need.
We do not use single-use plastic bags in the shipping of our items and for our online shipping outers, we use bio-degradable courier bags or cardboard boxes.
As our garments are seasonless, we are not always releasing new styles and encouraging our customers to buy more. We have made our garments to last and work to the buy better, buy less ethos.
